Local residents can help plan community spaces along the North Spokane Corridor at a series of “charrettes” during which citizens can contribute ideas on public places and amenities along the NSC route and adjacent Children of the Sun Trail. A charrette is an inclusive and collaborative workshop to help identify relevant issues and potential solutions for projects with community-wide significance. The charrette process welcomes citizens’ concepts for preserving, enhancing and creating public spaces to promote health, happiness and well-being. Feb. 24 and March 10 from 10 am-2:30 pm.
