Past Forward: Contemporary Art from the Emirates

Past Forward is part of a cultural diplomacy program from the Meridian International Center and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Washington, D.C. The exhibition tells the story of the UAE's rich history, culture, and rapid development through the works of 25 notable Emirati artists. The exhibition features more than 50 paintings, sculptures, and photographs, and is traveling to six states on a two-year national tour. May 16-June 28; gallery open Wed-Sun, 10 am-5 pm.
