Porchfest

Get to know your neighbors during the fourth annual Porchfest, a locally organized event that brings area musicians and performers to makeshift stages, in the form of porches and backyards in West Central Spokane. You don't have to live in West Central to enjoy this free event, which encourages unity in the community. If anything, the folks who come from beyond West Central and Kendall Yards might be inclined to make a move there after spending an afternoon in the friendly, hip neighborhood. In all, this year's edition of Porchfest features 37 local musicians and poets performing at the event's 17 residential host locations.
