Salish School Remembers

When: Tue., Dec. 15, 7-8:30 p.m. 2015

Listen to students from the Salish School of Spokane read poetry about Kay O’Rourke’s art masterpiece, "The River Remembers," which is on permanent display at Spark Center. Students incorporated their family experiences and Native American history into poetry about the 30 paintings. Their work will be bound in a book with local poets’ reaction to the pieces and released at this event. Free and open to the public.
