Song of Silence: Embroidered Tapestries of Kyrgyz Nomads

When: Mondays-Fridays, 12-5 p.m. Continues through Feb. 9 2018

EWU student Angeline Nesbit curated the gallery exhibit with Kyrgyzstan tapestries from Anne Marie Burk’s collection located in Spokane. The tapestries are a marker of the country’s history, the different influences on their design and the craftsmanship by the Kyrgyz women who created them. Jan. 8-Feb. 9; open Mon-Fri from noon-5 pm. Artist reception Jan. 25, with refreshments and hors d'oeuvres.
