The Chain Gang & r & It's normal to tour after releasing a new album, but what the Ditty Bops are doing is just crazy. Upon release of Moon Over the Freeway (5/23), the indie/flapper jazz duo began biking from L.A. to New York, playing 35 gigs along the way to promote cycling, clean air and healthy living. Though it's been done before (by Bicycle the Band), it doesn't make them any less bad-ass. And, yes, their asses will feel bad come August. Follow their progress at dittybops.com.
