When: Sept. 8-17 2017
“Get your kicks, it’s year 66” of the Spokane County Interstate Fair, which kicks off this weekend for nine days of country-style entertainment, from the rodeo and demolition derby to concerts, carnival games and concessions galore. This year’s grandstand headliners include country music star Gary Allan (Sept. 12), along with all-girl pop group Fifth Harmony (Sept. 13), and comedian Gabriel Iglesias (Sept. 14). Local and regional entertainers round out the daily lineup, which is listed in detail online. Attendees of all ages can also enjoy the fair’s classic attractions, including agricultural and livestock displays featuring the award-winning pursuits of farmers around the region. Of course, the fair is also the spot to get your fill of tasty, greasy concessions and take a spin on one of the many carnival rides — we recommend doing the latter before filling your belly.
