Spokane’s Historic Ghost Signs

Explore the faded but still-visible painted advertising signs surviving on brick buildings throughout Spokane’s historic city core. This class includes a talk on the instructor’s ghost signs research project, and the historical significance of ghost signs. After a one-hour lunch break, participants will take a 90-minute walking tour in downtown Spokane to view illustrations of some of the city’s ghost signs. *Lunch may be purchased at the Museum’s Café MAC or participants may bring their own.
