Storied Sips: America’s First Culinary Art, the Mixed Drink

Explore the history and traditions of drinking in America with instructor Renee Cebula. Students may sign up for one, two or three classes in the series. Sept. 27: “New World Rum to Tiki Bars,” Oct. 11: “Prohibition Booze, Buzz, and Bam,” Nov. 8: “Hot Toddies & Savory Winter Cocktails.” Sessions from 1-6 pm, with an optional field trip to downtown Spokane craft cocktail bars, Sante's Butcher Bar and Durkin's Liquor Bar. Ages 21+.
