The Antlers, Yellow Ostrich

Exploring heavier themes such as death and feelings of insignificance in the universe, the Antlers take listeners through pains of the past, but end up hopeful. Their music combines emotional intensity with slower beats, haunting melodies and occasionally even a horn section. This Brooklyn-based indie rock three-piece has made the national and international festival rounds in the last few years, performing at Sasquatch!, Austin City Limits and Portugal’s Optimus Alive! festival, to name a few. If their live show is anything akin to the in-and-out-of-focus, slow-motion music videos they produce, it promises to be a floaty journey that may briefly blur place and time.
