The Majestic Great Blue Heron

When: Sat., March 3, 10-11 a.m. 2018

Eamon Harrity a master's student at the University of Idaho, gives a talk about these birds, the largest seen along the edges of rivers and streams in this area. 2018 marks the centennial anniversary of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. To commemorate, 2018 has been identified as the "Year of the Bird." After the program, join natural resource staff by pulling weeds in our native plant pollinator garden, removing unwanted weeds will provide the native species more room and resources to thrive.
