Spokane artist CarLy Haney made her first taxidermied giant spider assemblage in 2014. She'd seen similar pieces online, but was frustrated with the high price, so she set out to make her own. The artist has since created more than 60 mounted spiders, which she sells online and displays in venues across Spokane.
