Turnbull Community Planting Event

Turnbull NWR, Spokane Audubon Society and Friends of Turnbull host a community work party as part of an ongoing community effort to restore native riparian habitat to benefit birds and other wildlife species. Hundreds of native saplings need to be planted with fencing to protect the trees from deer, elk and moose browsing. Includes a potluck lunch at noon (hamburgers, veggie burgers and hotdogs supplied).
