A lecture delving into the problems of interpreting Velazquez’s most famous painting. Presenter Meredith Shimizu is an Associate Professor of Art at Whitworth University. As an art historian, she teaches a variety of courses, including Renaissance, Baroque, and Modern. She also offers periodic public lectures at the MAC. Refreshments served.
