A lecture by Prof. Cornel Pewewardy, director of PSU’s Native American Studies program. Pewewardy teaches students to think critically about U.S. history, tribal sovereignty, identity politics, and negative ethnic stereotypes. His efforts were recognized by the National Indian Education Association, which named him its 2009 Teacher of the Year.
